Our oyster shells are hand-collected from the shores of Tod’s Point in Greenwich, CT. All shells are found on the beach, tumbled by the Atlantic Ocean, and naturally bleached by the sunshine. No oyster beds were disturbed during collection. We do not use any shells discarded by restaurants or from online shell retailers. Each New England Atlantic oyster shell is uniquely beautiful. The oyster shells are gently, yet thoroughly, cleaned by hand in order to maintain the natural color and uniqueness. Our shells are a product of the ever-changing ocean, therefore each will be unique and varied. We coat the inside of the shells with a thin layer of archival quality, high gloss finish to preserve the shell.
