Here are Three (10) Original High School Student Newspapers, THE TOWER, from Princeton, New Jersey of the years 1938-1941.. The Tower is Princeton High School's student-run newspaper. Since 1928, the Tower has been reporting on the inner workings of PHS, the district, township and cultural & political events of Princeton at large.. Much of this grouping is from the World War 2 years, of which much is written in these pages.. Many photographs, articles, illustrations and topics of interest for those interested in the Princeton, NJ area during this time period. Included are the following issues: 1938 - Jan. 26, Sept. 29, Dec. 8, Nov. 10 1939 - Feb. 9, Mar. 23 1940 - Oct 3, Nov. 14 and finally 1941 - Mar. 6 and Mar. 10 Condition is generally very good, as shown. Some tears at the interior folds on some, which is typical.. Jan 26, 1938 and March 6, 1941 are the worst with cover tears at the fold on each.. But the condition remains undisturbed and generally to this unusual and delicate ephemera, which is not commonly encountered at all..
