Prepare a pot by filling it with equal parts of potting soil and sand. Dampen the mixture. Make a small hole in the soil with your finger. Place the cutting into the hole about 2" deep and then back-fill the hole. Provide moisture by cutting the bottom of a milk jug off then place it over the cutting with the LID OFF. Place in bright but INDIRECT sunlight. Keep the temperature about 75F to 80F. Keep the soil damp but not soaked. You can expect the plants to be rooted in 7 to 8 weeks. Plant outdoors after well established in early spring or late fall only. NOTE: These will go dormant and die back to ground level in winter.
