Description: This listing is for 10+ eggs from my blue/black LF Brahma pen. (You will get at least 2 extra eggs.) This pen has a blue rooster over black and blue hens. The chicks could be blue, black, or even splash. My hatches have been a decent mix of black and blue, with the odd splash every once and a while. This is a project color and, as such, the chicks may develop color leakage in their feathers, and in some cases, a throwback to partridge may happen. Our farm is NPIP certified. I've had an 90-95% hatching rate from this pen. However, I cannot guarantee your hatching rates, because shipping eggs is a major risk to the eggs' viability. There is a difference between "not fertile" and "no longer viable". Often times, shipped eggs lose viability from rough handling or temperature changes. I do my best to pack the eggs for safe arrival, but I cannot account for the potentially rough handling through shipping. Low or no hatch rates can happen. Please be sure to note the development rate of the eggs that don't hatch. I'm happy to work with you if your development is poor. Hatching eggs are collected fresh when ordered. The eggs are collected several times a day and stored on an automatic egg turner in a climate controlled area (not refrigerated) until shipped via Priority Mail 2-3 day to get them to you within 7 days of being laid. (Subject to the Post Office and any delays they may have.) I do not mark the shipping boxes with anything other than "Fragile". It's been my experience over the years that marking the boxes up all over and/or as "hatching eggs" resulted in more instances of damage. If this is a problem, please let me know before your order ships. Depending on how the orders come in, there may be a wait time. Please message me if you'd like to know the current wait time. Please understand that eggs may have some dirt on them. I do my best to collect the eggs a few times a day in the hopes of getting them before they get dirty and for the most part, I am successful. However, here in Kentucky, mud is a year round thing and some of my hens make it their goal to get into the muddiest areas they can find and then go in the nest boxes. Most of my Brahma girls have thick feathering on their feet, which allows for tracking mud with ease. I will not send eggs dirtier than what I have hatched myself, but if the possibility of less than perfectly clean eggs is a problem, please don't order.
