Shrimps will be sent out as juveniles or adults. Each shrimp is randomly scooped with a 50/50 chance to be a male or female. With the Yellow Golden Back shrimps, the males will tend to have a lesser pronounced stripe on their backs while females will have a very bold stripe. Shrimps may lose color due to the stress of shipping, and will quickly regain their color once acclimated to their new tank environment. If the shrimps don't start regaining color within a day or two, there may be a problem with the water parameters.
