It's about 5/8" widest. I think it's rolled gold plate, & it's in good condition. At it's largest it's about 6 -1/2" around the inside, & it's slightly oval for a better fit. It can be adjusted down about 5/8", 2 times.It's in good vintage condition with no damage I can detect.Perfect by itself or in a stack!
