Description: This listing is for a high-quality trio of Purple Delta (also known as American Purple) Guppy Fish. This strain is highly prolific and grows very large. The strain is from an International Fancy Guppy Association breeder who routinely places very high in the shows. These fish have been bred and raised in our home in our personal aquariums by a mother/daughter team. These are hardy American lines, not imported lines. They have been fed live baby brine shrimp twice a day and high quality dry foods twice a day. Photos are of mature adults. We will ship adults if they are available, but mostly we will ship young adults 3-4 months old. Please reach out for any questions you may have. We are happy to help other hobbyists in any way we can. Shipping:Shipping via USPS is included. We will ship primarily on a Monday or Tuesday depending on your location. We will not ship if the weather is not amenable to shipping live fish, as our priority is to ensure safe arrival of the fish to your location. We ship in an insulated box with either ice packs or heat packs as needed. We can combine shipping of several orders. DOA Policy: In the event of the fish arriving dead, please send 2 pictures of each fish in the unopened bag, and 1 picture of each fish out of the bag on a paper towel, within 1 hour of the delivery time. Please be prepared to be available to accept the delivery. If your fish arrive DOA, we will either refund the price of the fish minus the cost of shipping, or ship replacement fish however you will have to pay replacement shipping. If you prefer to have the fish shipped UPS overnight 1 day or 2 day, we will charge the difference in shipping cost from USPS priority, however we will not guarantee live arrival with UPS unless you pickup at the distribution center. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not order. Acclimation:We recommend gradually acclimating the fish to your water. Testing your water parameters compared to the shipping water allows you to adjust your acclimation process accordingly. Turning off the lights for several hours also helps reduce stress on the new fish. The fish may take several days to regain their full color. Thank you for looking!
