An original "Elevator" for Vintage Millers Falls Langdon and Langdon Acme Mitre Boxes. These spring activated inserts screw into the saw guide post and allow the saw to be held above the frame. The knurled pull is pulled out to release the saw when ready. These often become damaged or lost and this one is an excellent replacement. Note that the part needs to be oriented correctly when installed for it to work properly. Minor deficiencies - owner's initials, nicks, etc. GOOD MINUS: 50-65% of original finish remaining. Has seen hard use, but remains serviceable. Scratches, nicks, dents, cracks, chips, improper replacement parts. FAIR: 25-50% of original finish remaining. Heavy wear and rust. Some parts are broken, missing, or improper - serious flaws.
