The Mason's Patent Dec. 30th 1858 is a ground lip & has a patch of amber a the neck of the jar. the Mason's CFJCo. Patent Dec. 30th 1858 is a ground lip also & has double & even triple stamped date on the bottom. Very solid jars, but some little chips on the rim.. They could use a minor cleaning. I do not mess with my items. I broke one before. I tried to take many pictures for you to see from all angles & decide for yourself.
