Description: This rare leaf, an original fragment of the 1776 Gun Wad Bible, is a beautiful historical artifact from teh American Revolutionary War. While most were destroyed by British soldiers during the battle of Germantown, the paper leaves were used for campfires, gun wadding and horse bedding. Printed on 100% rag cotton linen, this leaf has remained in excellent condition. This is simply one of the most impressive things you could possibly have hanging on your wall at home or in the office. Included in the auction are the original leaf, the COA, and a photocopy of the bible title page for reference.
